Putin in Mongolia, no arrest made - ablow to ICC
Russian President Vladimir Putin recently visited Mongolia, marking his first trip to a member country of the International Criminal Court (ICC) since an arrest warrant was issued against him in 2023 for alleged war crimes in Ukraine. Despite international pressure, including calls from Ukraine and the European Union, Mongolia did not arrest Putin, highlighting the ICC's limited enforcement capabilities. This visit underscores challenges in holding powerful leaders accountable under international law and is seen as a significant setback for the ICC's credibility
