Relevant to curriculum descriptors:
- ACSPH103: Point charges and charged objects produce an electric field in the space that surrounds them; field theory attributes the electrostatic force on a point charge or charged body to the presence of an electric field.
- ACSPH104: A positively charged body placed in an electric field will experience a force in the direction of the field; the strength of the electric field is defined as the force per unit charge.

Presented by Ella Wang. Ella has completed Honours in Physics and a Bachelor of Philosophy, a research intensive undergraduate degree, with a science focus. She has previously worked as a private tutor and she has also volunteered to run workshops for high school students. Her research interests include astrophysics and computer science. She is passionate about improving high school education in STEM fields.
