Aligned to curriculum descriptors for year 11 chemistry:
- ACSCH046: Select and use appropriate mathematical representations to problems and make predictions, including using the mole concept to calculate the mass of chemicals and/or volume of a gas (at standard temperature and pressure) involved in a chemical reaction, and using the relationship between the number of moles of solute, concentration and volume of a solution to calculate unknown values.
- ACSCH063: The concentration of a solution is defined as the amount of solute divided by the amount of solution; this can be represented in a variety of ways including by the number of moles of the solute per litre of solution (mol/L) and the mass of the solute per litre of solution (g/L).
