Windle International Uganda with support from UHCHR has been distributing tablets to learners in refugee settlements to enhance access to education for students. The tablets have bridged the educational gap by providing access to a wide range of educational resources, including digital textbooks, online courses, and educational apps. They also offer flexibility in terms of when and where learning can take place, which is especially important in refugee settlements where traditional schooling may be limited or disrupted. These have also introduced refugee and host community learners to digital technology to improve their digital literacy skills, which are increasingly important in today's world.
