Customizing Your Livestream Title, Description, and Privacy Settings

1. Access the Livestream Settings

  • Log into your Tebtalks admin account via desktop or mobile.
  • Navigate to the Livestream/Event section where you manage your streams.
  • Select the specific livestream you want to edit or create a new one.

2. Customize the Livestream Title

  • Locate the Title field in the livestream setup page.
  • Enter a compelling and descriptive title for your stream that accurately reflects the content.
    • For example, "Live Q&A with Experts" or "Product Launch Event."
  • Keep it clear and concise to grab the attention of potential viewers.

3. Edit the Livestream Description

  • Find the Description section.
  • Write a detailed description that outlines:
    • The purpose or theme of the livestream (e.g., “Join us for a deep dive into new tech innovations!”).
    • Any key highlights or guests featured in the livestream (e.g., “Special guest: Tech expert Jane Doe”).
    • Important links or call-to-actions (e.g., registration links or social media hashtags).
  • Ensure the description is engaging and offers enough information to encourage viewers to tune in.

4. Adjust Privacy Settings

  • Scroll down to the Privacy Settings section.
  • Choose who can view the livestream:
    • Public: Anyone can view the stream. This is ideal for general audiences or public events.
    • Private: Only invited or approved users can watch. This is useful for exclusive content or members-only events.
    • Custom/Invite-only: Select specific users or groups to access the stream. You can also provide a password or link to control access.
  • You may also have the option to set the stream’s visibility on the platform, such as enabling or disabling search results or notifications.

5. Save Your Changes

  • After customizing your title, description, and privacy settings, ensure that you click Save or Update to apply these changes.

6. Test the Changes

  • If possible, preview the event or livestream to verify that the title, description, and privacy settings appear as intended
